We're located at 2350 Riverside Drive, Idaho Springs, CO 80452. We're just 30 minutes west of Denver, easily accessible off I-70 West. That's approximately 40 miles from downtown Denver, 24 miles from Golden, and 51 miles from Denver International Airport.

Mighty Argo is Colorado's Front Range's longest scenic gondola at 1.2 miles, featuring a 1,250-foot elevation gain from 7,550 ft to 8,800 ft. We're also the first in North America to feature Doppelmayr bike cab gondolas, allowing you to bring your mountain bike up the mountain with you!

Tickets can be purchased online through our website or at our ticket office on-site. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance, especially during peak seasons and weekends.

We are open every day. Gates open at 10:00 AM and the last ride up departs at 3:00 PM, with the park closing at 5:00 PM.

The scenic gondola ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes each way, covering 1.2 miles of stunning mountain terrain with an elevation gain of 1,250 feet.

Yes! We have on-site parking available for all visitors. Parking details will be announced closer to our opening date.

Definitely! We can sell out on busy days, especially weekends and holidays. If you buy your ticket in advance, you can guarantee a spot! And you can cancel right up until your reservation time and get all your money back.

Yes, you can exchange your tickets for a new time or fully refund them right up to your reservation's arrival time, at which point they are no longer refundable or changeable. All refund requests after the reservation time must be made within 30 days of the reservation as per our refund policy in our terms of service.

Absolutely! We love to have City of Idaho Springs residents join us, and their Cable Car ride is free! Residents are required to reserve a ticket through our ticketing system and all adults 18+ must show ID proving Idaho Springs residency to receive their free ticket. If the resident is under 18, they must be accompanied by an adult who can prove residency. Note, local tickets only apply to City of Idaho Springs residents. Some blackout dates and times may apply.

Absolutely! We feature specialized bike cab gondolas--the first of their kind in North America. Each bike cab can accommodate up to 8 bikes, making it easy to transport your mountain bike and gear to Miners Point. After which you can ride it into the city owned premium trail heads.

Virginia Canyon Mountain Park, owned by Idaho Springs, currently offers 15 miles of trail that are open now. The city is looking to expand to a full network of 28 miles of hiking and biking trails by 2027!

The Virginia Canyon Mountain Bike Park is for advanced bikers only! There is one hiker friendly trail but bikers share it, so we reccommend experienced hikers only.

Yes, visitors should provide their own mountain bikes and ride at their own risk on the city trails.

In addition to the cable car and trails, you can explore the Argo Mill and Tunnel Tour to experience Colorado's rich mining heritage, visit Miners Point to explore historic mining claims, and enjoy events at the Outpost Amphitheater including concerts and weddings.

We recommend wearing layers as temperatures can vary with elevation. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, water, and comfortable walking or hiking shoes. If you're planning to bike or hike, bring appropriate gear for your chosen activity.

Safety is our top priority. Our state-of-the-art Doppelmayr cable car system is engineered for safe operation in various weather conditions. However, we may suspend operations during severe weather such as lightning storms or high winds.

We do not allow the use of drones of any kind near the cable car, Mill or property.

Yes, and they're free! Just keep them secure.

Of course, including jogging strollers! But if it's a busy time, we ask that you fold them up inside the gondola.
