About a 45 minute wait to go up. Nice views. Very windy and colder on top. This time of year a warm windproof jacket is in order. There are usually a lot of chipmunks on top , but we saw only 5. They have peanuts for sale at the gift shop for the chipmunks. There is a bar on top for a cold one and nice view. The was a lengthy delay on the way down as a rider on the way up threw up in the car so about a half hour of clean up was needed for one of the 2 cars. This is not their fault though.
The ride was 5 minutes in a small compartment with no seats. View was nice going up. Cafe was closed, but the small souvenir shop was open (with bathrooms). The views were nice but I was expecting more snow-capped mountains. Nice, but not really worth the price.
Employees are very helpful and with a great sense of humor
We had a blast on the tram. The kids loved climbing all of the rocks up on the mountain and we hiked pretty close to the top of the trail. There's tons of scenery up there. Thanks for the fun!
We fed peanuts to chipmonks.and had hot chocolate
This was our favorite activity in Estes Park. Highly recommend going in early morning. The crowds were coming in as we were finishing up. The hike at the top was the best of our trip with beautiful 360 views.
The tram is fun to ride. Takes about 4 minutes to reach the top. I recommend taking a hike to the peak. The view is amazing.

The tram was a lot of fun and the operators were super friendly and very pleasant to chat with. At the top it's worth trying to hike up to the summit for some amazing views of the valley. The cafe was well maintained and had a decent menu. We weren't hungry but did pick up a coffee and hot cocoa. They also have alcoholic beverages but it was morning so had to pass. Prices are reasonable and online with what you'd expect. Tram was a lot of fun and gorgeous views!
